口号出现在纸币上：流亡藏人受印度警察追究
这是一句在西方世界流行的口号，但如果它出现在纸币上会出现什么情况？
《印度时报》以“500卢比上出现自由西藏的口号激起愤怒”为题报道说，1月31日，在印度北部达兰萨拉的一家市场里，有商家在一张500卢比的纸币上发现了这句口号，他把它上缴了当地警察局，警察局就此“误用货币”的情况发出警告，并把事态升级，他们将会就此与设在达兰萨拉的藏人行政中央交涉。
警察局负责人Balbir Thakur 表示此事已经立案调查，他指“利用印度货币争取自由、反对任何特定的国家都是一种严重的罪行”。
警方说，纸币上的口号不是写上去的，而是用印章盖上去的，他们目前正在调查在达兰萨拉地区是否有其他纸币出现相同的情况。
印度刑法第489条和1949年通过的《印度银行法》第35A条都规定，这种破坏钱币的做法会受到惩罚。

How can we permit any other Govt other than Govt of India to function in India ? The Dalai Lama may be a great religious leader but let him stick to religion and philosophy. Next we will see Free LTTE govt , Free Khalistan Govt , Free Mizoram Govt , Free Nagaland govt , Naxalite Govt , Azad Kashmir Govt functioning in various parts of India.They will print their names on notes and some have already started collecting taxes.
shyamper (thane) This is one more rule violated in India with impunity. Writing on currency notes is very common practic in India--including in banks. rule is made and forgotton like many others.
